Do Sidas ski insoles improve the comfort of your feet?
We're not going to make a big deal of it. The answer is yes. Yes, Sidas ski insoles improve the comfort but also the performance of your feet in your ski boots! We want the sobriety of this statement to resonate with the eco-responsibility of our products. For 50 years, we've been developing comfort solutions so that you can enjoy your skiing days without thinking about your feet. Not feeling cold or sore in your boots. We said yes. Now we're going to tell you why. In practical terms.
Why use an insole in your ski boots?
Our bootfitters often ask this question. What are the benefits of using insoles in your ski boots? There are many.
Firstly, Sidas ski insoles increase foot stability. These insoles allow the foot to sit comfortably in the boot, particularly in the heel area, and the body to be perfectly aligned, as if you were sitting in the bucket seat of a car.
Secondly, technical insoles for skiing are designed to support the arch of your foot, and therefore limit the collapse of your foot under the weight of fatigue. This tends to reduce muscle pain or cramps.
These insoles also provide a better distribution of pressure points. Pressure is evened out and shocks better absorbed, which greatly reduces the risk of sore spots appearing.
Last but not least, Sidas ski insoles have insulating properties. Thanks to its specifically adapted shape, the insole allows for optimised blood circulation. A foot that feels good is a foot that feels warm. In other words, comfort increases warmth. With this in mind, the composition of the covering is an important factor to take into account.
