Our brand is run by men and women passionate about sport and the mountains. Every day we experience nature and see its vulnerability. The desire to act in a more responsible and environmentally friendly manner is a daily concern. That is why we wanted to humbly and simply 'do our part', wherever we could, developing the Ecotech label from our experience and know-how. It aims to mark a ‘before’ and an ‘after’ in the design of sportswear.
To ensure we do not fall into the 'greenwashing' trap, its development has necessitated several years of work to guarantee it produces an actual reduction in our environmental impact with more sustainable products.

WHAT IS THE ECOTECH LABEL IN REAL TERMS?
The Ecotech label is a new way of combining recycled fibres to design more eco-friendly products, without compromising on comfort or performance. The Ecotech label therefore comes on all socks and future sportswear benefiting from this technology which, we believe, is revolutionary.
WHY DID WE CREATE THE ECOTECH LABEL?
The idea for the Ecotech label dates from quite some time ago. Such concerns have been at the heart of our R&D for a long while, but it took time to ensure that this new design technique, based on recycled textile fibres, actually worked and could not be lumped in with the so-called 'greenwashing' marketing arguments!
This initiative aims to reduce our environmental impact and matches up with the raison d'être of Sidas World, the group to which we belong, which has set itself the mission of contributing to the enjoyment of everyone in their sporting and nature pursuits, in the most sustainable way possible, through appropriate solutions for the body and feet.
HOW THE ECOTECH LABEL WORKS
WHAT DOES A 'MORE RESPONSIBLE MATERIAL' MEAN?
First of all, in our innovation process, we felt it was very important to distinguish natural materials from synthetic materials. Contrary to popular belief, a natural material can have a much greater environmental impact than a synthetic material. This is why we have chosen to employ virtuous and 'clean' materials, by limiting our use of animal materials that have a consequent environmental impact, like silk or merino wool.
We turned, therefore, to recycled synthetics, all of which are accredited with a GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certification. All our socks with the Ecotech label are therefore made from recycled textile fibres, i.e. recycled polyamide or elastane!
WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE ECOTECH LABEL?
We are true enthusiasts, so, like the champions and more amateur sportsmen and women we support, we like to set ourselves a goal. An ambitious but achievable goal. That of ultimately designing the most environmentally friendly technical sports sock on the market.
For this, the challenge is to develop products of quality equality to those of today, still with the same promise of comfort and performance, but with recycled fibres. For socks that are as technical as they are eco-friendly.
WHERE CAN THE ECOTECH LABEL BE FOUND?
WHICH PRODUCTS BENEFIT FROM THE ECOTECH LABEL?
You can already find our Ecotech label in several of our products. This Ecotech label is reserved for our socks for the moment, but it will be used in future designs of our other products. In fact, to be sure that the pair of socks you like has this label, just look for the little logo on the packaging or the product's internet sheet.
ENDURANCE RACING KNEE ECO SOCKS
A high running sock ideal for long distances. This comes particularly from its progressive compression of the calf, which allows better blood circulation and therefore oxygenation of the muscles during exercise. Its 3 strategically placed grip strips are also the best way oflimiting chafing, heating and other blisters by providing stability to the foot in the sock.
Its composition: 71% ECOTECH = 48% recycled Polyamide, 21% Econyl and 2% recycled Elastane
PODIUM SOCKS
The absolutely perfect compressive technical sock to support your recovery, even if you didn't make the podium! Its little extra? The toe separation that means you can use this compression sock with flip-flops.
This running sock has the most recycled fibres and is therefore one of the most responsible articles on the market today in terms of sustainability.
Its composition: 78% ECOTECH = 78% recycled Polyamide
SKI COMFORT SOCKS
A technical ski sock designed for comfort that has a tailored structure to accommodate larger calves without creating painful pressure around them.
Its composition: 15% ECOTECH = 15% recycled Polyamide
SKI MERINO SOCKS
A technical ski sock designed to achieve the height of comfort. What's on the agenda? A specific construction all around the foot with strategically placed protection zones in the sensitive areas of the shin, heel and toes. Also, the merino wool, known for its incomparable softness and warmth, brings great breathability and insulation capabilities to this high performance ski sock.

A technical ski sock for kids, designed on the basis of the merino wool ski sock for adults. The same level of comfort and performance for adults and children.
Its composition: 60% ECOTECH = 56% recycled Polyamide + 4% recycled Elastane
SKI TOURING SOCKS
Very light and breathable ski touring socks that are almost imperceptible in your ski boot thanks to their thinness and stability, ensured by its friction-limiting grip strip.
Its composition: 50% ECOTECH = 46% recycled Polyamide + 4% recycled Elastane
SKI NORDIC SOCKS
Cross-country ski socks which, like ski touring socks, provide maximum breathability for feet that sweat from exertion. 0% moisture, 0% chafing, 100% comfort and performance.

SKI MERINO PERFORMANCE SOCKS
A high-performance technical ski sock aimed at demanding skiers looking for precision, durability and comfort. The instep grip strip increases contact with the sole and the merino wool composition wicks moisture while providing warmth.

SKI ULTRAFIT SOCKS
One of the thinnest ski socks on the market. Its very subtle compression and small volume make it almost imperceptible in the ski boot and allow you to forget about your feet, so you can focus solely on the fun to be had in each curve.
