Cross-country skiing, whether practised in classic or skating style, involves specific movements and successive phases of foot contact. The XC 3D Nordic has been developed to support these different phases by combining stability, precision and dynamism.
A 3D shell to stabilise the foot
The pre-shaped 3D shell stabilises the foot and improves control of movements. In particular, it helps to optimise stability whilst gliding and manoeuvring, for more precise foot placement.
A pad designed for propulsion
The propulsion pad, also known as the Kick Pad, is positioned to support the push-off phase. It promotes power transfer and enhances the feel during movement, making propulsion more dynamic.
Comfort and abrasion resistance
Comfort foam provides pleasant cushioning during long outings. The upper lining is designed to resist abrasion, a feature particularly suited to the repetitive movements of Nordic skiing.
